Proyecto de intervención con jóvenes: los estereotipos de género y las redes sociales.

Abstract

Este proyecto de intervención esta dirigido a jóvenes de 3º y 4 de ESO, la intervención se enfocará en concienciar sobre la importancia de los estereotipos de género y cómo los y las jóvenes los encuentran y reproducen en el uso de las redes sociales y otras tecnologías de la información y comunicación. Se trabajará mediante sesiones presenciales en las que los y las jóvenes adquirirán los conocimientos necesarios para saber identificar correctamente los estereotipos de género cuando aparecen en su uso de las nuevas tecnologías. También se trabajará con los padres y madres del alumnado acerca de la seguridad de los y las menores en el uso de Internet. A partir de la participación de la figura del/la Trabajador/a Social, se garantizará que los y las jóvenes adquieran el conocimiento, técnicas y medios necesarios para identificar los estereotipos de género tanto en el contenido que consumen en redes sociales como también en sus comportamientos durante el día a día

This intervention project is aimed to youth students of 3rd and 4th year of secondary school. The intervention will focus on raising awareness about the importance of gender stereotypes and how young people reproduce them in social media and other information and communication technologies. Works will be done through face-to-face group sessions in which young people will acquire the necessary knowledge to know how to correctly identify gender stereotypes when they appear in their daily use of new technologies. Also, we will work with parents of the students about safety in the use of the Internet. From the participation of the figure of the Social Worker, it will be guaranteed that young people acquire the knowledge and techniques necessary to identify gender stereotypes in the content they consume on social media as well as in their everyday behavior.
