The search for sustainability and the concern for the environment is increasingly evident. Currently, the
2030 Agenda, with its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), represent the most important
challenges of today. Human activity is destroying and exploiting ecosystems, global greenhouse gas
emissions continue to rise, and the planet is experiencing a potentially catastrophic climate change.
According to the UN, 80% of wastewater is discharged into the seas without treatment and more than
4.7 million hectares of forests are lost each year, been the agricultural sector one of the major causes
of these problems. That is why the objective of this work is to draw up an Environmental Sustainability
Plan for the entity COPLACA cooperative society, and thus collaborate, to reduce the negative effects
of agricultural activity on the planet, preserve ecosystems and use and manage resources efficiently.
