El impacto de la diversidad funcional en las familias durante el período infantil.

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se aborda en profundidad el término de Diversidad Funcional, y su repercusión e impacto en el ámbito familiar. Para ello, se ha reflejado un marco teórico donde se establecen los principales elementos que caracterizan a la Diversidad Funcional y a las familias. En concreto, se ha hecho una revisión del impacto en la familia en función del tipo de discapacidad y del periodo de la infancia. A partir de los resultados obtenidos, se observa el enorme número de artículos hallados junto al impacto en la familia y la diversidad en cuanto a las respuestas familiares. Además, se intenta resaltar el relevante papel que desempeña el contexto familiar en el proceso de adaptación a la discapacidad. En concreto, el tipo de discapacidad que predomina en cuanto a números de estudios e investigaciones es el tipo de discapacidad que hace referencia a la Diversidad Funcional Auditiva.

This work delves into the term Functional Diversity and its repercussion and impacto n the family environment. For this, a theoretical framework has been reflected where the main elements that characterize Functional Diversity and families are established. Specifically, a review has been made of the impact on the family based on the type of disability and the period of childhood. From the results obtained, the enormous number of articles found together with the impact on the family and the diversity in terms of family responses is observed. With this, we want to highlight the relevant role that the family figure plays in the process of adaptation to disability. Specifically, the type of disability that predominates in terms of number of studies and reserarch is the type of disability that refers to Functional Auditory Diversity.
