Los animales en la sociedad española

Abstract

This project deals with the situation of different animals in our society, from a legal point of view and from the different uses that them are used. The main objective of this study is to understand the lack of regulation that exists about animal protection and, in general, the lack of empathy that exists in our society towards animals. This way, in this project we are analizing the actual regulation on animal welfare and, from the point of view of Criminal Law, Civil Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, without forgetting the perspective of Comparative Law, through International Law and the law of the European Union. On the other hand, with the same objective, in this work we are going to analyze the different activities where animals are forced to participate, in which their well-being is not truly taken into account, allowing certain physical and mental abuse of them in Spain.

El presente trabajo versa sobre la situación en la que se encuentran los distintos animales en nuestra sociedad, desde un punto de vista jurídico y desde los diferentes usos para los que se emplea a los animales. El objetivo principal de este estudio es entender la falta de regulación que existe acerca de la protección animal y, en general, la falta de empatía que hay en nuestra sociedad hacia los animales. Así pues, en este trabajo se analiza la regulación existente acerca del bienestar y protección animal, desde el punto de vista del Derecho Penal, del Derecho Civil, del Derecho Constitucional y Administrativo, sin olvidar la perspectiva del Derecho Comparado, a través del Derecho Internacional y el Derecho de la Unión Europea. Por otro lado, y con el mismo objetivo, en este trabajo vamos a analizar las diferentes actividades en las cuales los animales son forzados a participar, en las que no se tiene verdaderamente en cuenta el bienestar de estos, permitiéndose en España ciertos maltratos físicos y psíquicos a los mismos
