El siglo III d.C. en Hispania. Una aproximación historiográfica y arqueológica.

Abstract

El interés por conocer los hechos sucedidos en el siglo III d.C. en Hispania, a través de la aportación de la arqueología, es lo que ha motivado la elaboración de este trabajo. Este estudio se encuentra inserto dentro del gran debate que ha existido en el mundo académico, en torno a la consideración de si este siglo fue un período de crisis o de continuidad. Por ello entendimos que el punto de partida de este trabajo tenía que ser las distintas aportaciones historiográficas, que nos ofrecerían un marco de referencia y nos ayudarían a encuadrar y entender los resultados de los estudios arqueológicos realizados en nuestro país hasta el momento.

The interest to know the facts happened in the 3rd century A.D. in Roman Spain, across the contribution of the archaeology, is what has motivated the production of this work. This study is inserted inside the great debate that has existed in the academic world, concerning the consideration of this century as a period of crisis or of continuity. For it we understood that the point of item of this work had to be the different historiographical contributions, that it would offer us a frame of reference and it would help us to fit and understand the results of the archaeological studies realized in our country up to the moment.
