La planificación del espacio marino: el cableado submarino y de telecomunicaciones de Canarias.

The objective of the present work is to make a study of the submarine
telecommunications wiring and its legal status from the marine spatial
planning and the maritime spatial planning plans, in addition to its treatment
as critical infrastructure.
All of that with a review of the policies pursued at a national and community
level and an important consideration and awareness of its fundamental role
in today's society through the different strategic plans approved in Spain. For
this, both the EU Directives and the national legislation and the Integrated
Maritime Policy, the objectives pursued by the Marine Spatial Planning and
the characteristics of the submarine wiring that the plan of the Canarian
Marine Demarcation supports will be studied.
In addition, the reasons why POEMs are a tool for the protection and
development of wiring will be considered. El objetivo del presente trabajo es hacer un estudio del cableado submarino
de telecomunicaciones y su estatuto jurídico desde la ordenación el espacio marino y los planes de ordenación del espacio marítimo, además de su
tratamiento como infraestructura crítica. Todo ello con revisión de las
políticas perseguidas a nivel nacional y comunitario y una importante
consideración y puesta en conocimiento de su papel fundamental en la
sociedad actual a través de los distintos planes estratégicos aprobados en
España . Para ello se estudiará tanto las Directivas de la UE como la
legislación nacional y la Política Marítima Integrada, los objetivos
perseguidos por la Ordenación del Espacio Marino y las características del
cableado submarino que el plan de la Demarcación Marina Canaria sustenta.
Además se plantearán los motivos por los que los POEM suponen una
herramienta para la protección y desarrollo del cableado.
