Luchando contra el Racismo desde la Educación: El Contacto Imaginado para desarrollar buenas Actitudes Interculturales en futuros docentes

Abstract

Nuestra sociedad del siglo XXI tiene como reto afrontar los diferentes cambios y transformaciones que van aconteciendo. Desde la esfera educativa, dar respuesta a dichas transformaciones sociales es necesario si queremos ofrecer una educación de calidad con un clima de convivencia. La diversidad cultural, concretamente, es uno de los factores de transformación social a los que el ámbito educativo tiene que dar respuesta a través de la atención, aceptación, respeto y valoración, aplicando prácticas pedagógicas inclusivas. La formación de futuros docentes en el ámbito cognitivo, emocional y social es una tarea de alto impacto. Por ello, este proyecto de investigación propone un modo para desarrollar unas buenas actitudes interculturales, para reducir actitudes racistas, prejuicios hacia grupos culturales diferentes al propio e incrementar las relaciones interculturales entre estos, con el objetivo de favorecer a una convivencia armoniosa. Por ello, nuestra fundamentación teórica viaja desde los conceptos racismo o raza, incluyendo la Educación Intercultural o Inclusión Educativa y, finalmente, propone realizar ejercicios en relación con las Teoría del Contacto Imaginado.

For this reason, the educational sphere has to respond to these social transformations in order to offer high-quality education with a good climate of coexistence.Cultural diversity, specifically, is one of the factors of social transformation to which the educational field has to respond through attention, acceptance, respect and appreciation, applying inclusive pedagogical practices. The training of our future teachers in the cognitive, emotional and social fields is a high impact task. For this reason, this research project proposes a way to develop favorable intercultural attitudes, to reduce racist attitudes, prejudices towards cultural groups other than one's own and increase intercultural relations between them, with the aim of favoring a harmonious coexistence For this reason, our theoretical foundation embraces concepts such as racism or race, Intercultural Education or Iclusive Education and, finally, it proposes to carry out tasks in relation to the Theory of Imagined Contact.
