Propuesta de intervención para el acercamiento a la iniciación a la lectura con una alumna con Trastorno del Espectro Autista (TEA) de 4 años de edad mediante la aplicación del método de lectura global

Los niños y niñas que presentan Necesidades Específicas de Apoyo Educativo (en
adelante NEAE) por Necesidades Educativas Especiales (en adelante NEE) debido al
Trastorno del Espectro Autista (TEA), tienen importantes dificultades de relación tanto
en sus relaciones personales como con el entorno que les rodea. Uno de los grandes
problemas que presenta este alumnado es un déficit en la comunicación, tanto verbal
como no verbal, ya que vivimos en una sociedad en la que es imprescindible poder
comunicarnos con el medio, y es por ello que la mayoría de las intervenciones en el
alumnado TEA se han centrado en este aspecto. Por ese motivo, esta propuesta pretende
promover la iniciación a la lectura como parte fundamental de su desarrollo, ofreciéndoles
herramientas que les permitan aprender a reconocer palabras básicas de su vida cotidiana,
en la etapa de Educación Infantil, siendo este uno de los objetivos educativos de esta
etapa, y proponiendo el método de lectura global apoyado con sistemas aumentativos y
alternativos de comunicación (en adelante SAAC), entre los que destacará el uso de

development, bringing them significant tools that allows them to recognize basic words
of their daily lives, during the early years of education, which is one of the objectives of
the stage, through the global reading method based on the use of pictograms from
