A Project is proposed “Suicide Code: LGTBIQA+ Approach and Prevention Strategy”, an important training tool that
Will allow nurses from different management to increase the level of knowledge for the approach and prevention of
suicide and suicidal ideas in the LGTBIQA+ collective, in order to be able to identify suicidal behaviors, avois or
reduce autolithic attempts, along with the necessary tolos, and know the main associated factors and warning signs.
A training Project is planned through a quasi-experimental study, which assesses the level of knowledge about
suicide before and after the training session. The objectives present in this research are divided into two; in the short
and long term; among which it stands out to know the suicide and its relevance in today`s society, to identify the
warning signs, to know the algorithm od ferivation of suicidal behavior, and be able to interpret different tolos such
as suicide risk questionnaires; suicide ideation scale, Plutchik suicide risk scale, Beck despair scale, SAD PERSONS
scale, and the Kessler psychological distress scale (K10) thus improving the level of health care of the LGTBIQA+
community, reducing the number of suicides, and prevent suicidal behavior. In the event that the favorable results
are obtained, its replication is proposed, being able to extend the duration up to 8 months.
