CHOSHINSEI. Entre el catálogo de moda y el manga.

Abstract

CHOSHINSEI is a project that gives an argumentative sense to a series of five sets of garments, illustrated as a su - pposed fashion catalogue. It is carried out through the design of garments due to their great communicative and artistic potential, expressing through them the feelings and experiences of the protagonist throughout the story. In essence, the plot deals with social relationships and the sacrifice related to these, using the different emotions, conflicts and ambiguities that are ge - nerated by the interaction between the self and the other. To this end, it seeks the expression of the individual throu - gh clothing and its illustrative repre - sentation in a hybrid format between fashion catalogue and manga.

CHOSHINSEI es un proyecto que aporta un sentido argumental a una serie de cinco conjuntos de prendas, representadas ilustrativamente en un supuesto catálogo de moda. Se realiza a través del diseño de prendas debido a su gran potencial comunicativo y artístico, expresando mediante de ellas los sentimientos y vivencias del protagonista a lo largo del relato. En esencia, el argumento trata sobre las relaciones sociales y el sacrificio relativo a estas, sirviéndose de las distintas emociones, conflictos y ambigüedades que se generan de la interacción entre el yo y el otro. Para ello, busca la expresión del individuo a través de la vestimenta y su representación ilustrativa en un formato híbrido entre el catálogo de moda y el manga.
