Patrimonio auténtico, turismo auténtico. Influencia de la cultura postmoderna en el concepto de Restauración

Abstract

En este artículo nos aproximamos al concepto de autenticidad y su influencia en la Restauración de objetos histórico -artísticos, pues, el desarrollo de la cultura postmoderna favorece a las intervenciones inadecuadas, alejadas de los criterios aceptados por la comunidad internacional. Se analizan los diferentes factores que intervienen en la formación de la idea de autenticidad y un caso paradigmático de restauración no oficial. De esta manera, se exponen las claves de transformación histórico -estética y se quiere sensibilizar sobre la trascendencia de la protección del patrimonio cultural. Asimismo, se evalúa el impacto del turismo cultural en la autenticidad de los monumentos arquitectónicos y las ciudades históricas, y la importancia del estudio de los valores patrimoniales como metodología de trabajo.

In this paper we approach the concept of authenticity and its influence on the Restoration of historical and artistic objects because the development of postmodern culture favors inappropriate interventions, away from the criteria accepted by the international community. It discusses the various factors involved in the formation of the idea of authenticity and a paradigmatic case of unofficial restoration. Thus, it outlines the keys of historical and aesthetic transformation and wants to raise awareness of the importance of cultural heritage protection. It also assesses the impact of cultural tourism in the authenticity of the architectural monuments and historic cities, and the importance of the study of heritage values l ike a working methodology.
