Efectos de las nuevas tecnologías sobre el mercado laboral y futuras ocupaciones

Abstract

Durante los últimos años hemos estado viviendo cambios con la irrupción de las nuevas tecnologías la cual siempre va acompañada de cierta inquietud sobre el futuro profesional de los trabajadores, en la medida en que se puedan realizar tareas sin necesidad de utilizar mano de obra humana. El objetivo de este trabajo gira en torno a la vulnerabilidad del mercado laboral canario y cuáles serán los sectores más afectados por esta evolución tecnológica que trae consigo la automatización de procesos o sustitución de capital humano. A través de una encuesta recopilamos información para explicar de manera progresiva cuáles serán las ocupaciones más afectadas y hacia dónde deben evolucionar el mercado laboral canario en los próximos años, con el fin de arrojar luz sobre las cuestiones que nos ocupan, en concreto, cómo afectará la tecnología en el trabajo de los habitantes de Canarias.

In recent years we have been experiencing changes with the emergence of new technologies, which is always accompanied by a certain concern about the professional future of workers, to the extent that tasks can be carried out without the need to use human labor. The objective of this work revolves around the vulnerability of the Canarian labor market and which will be the sectors most affected by this technological evolution that brings with it the automation of processes or the substitution of human capital. Through a survey we collect information to progressively explain which occupations will be most affected and where the Canarian labor market should evolve in the coming years, in order to shed light on the issues that concern us, specifically, how it will affect technology in the work of the inhabitants of the Canary Islands.
