El álbum silente como recurso didáctico para la cultura visual en las aulas

Abstract

La era de la tecnología y la digitalización ha traído consigo un cambio en el concepto de Cultura Visual generando un impacto a nivel social y educativo. Por tanto, debemos diseñar iniciativas para enseñar y orientar a los escolares en el estudio y comprensión del lenguaje a través de las imágenes. Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado es fruto de un proyecto de innovación basado en el análisis de la Cultura Visual, su efecto nivel educativo y el uso de las imágenes como herramienta narrativa en las aulas. El objetivo de este trabajo es introducir la Cultura Visual en la Educación Primaria a través de la creación de un recurso didáctico basado en las ilustraciones: el álbum silente. Para ello hemos investigado el papel de la Cultura Visual en la Educación Artística, hemos definido el álbum ilustrado y hemos realizado la búsqueda de referentes que nos han servido para la elaboración de un álbum silente como recurso didáctico. El resultado obtenido es la creación del álbum sin palabras: Humo, en el cual, a través de las ilustraciones se narra una historia. En cuanto a la aplicabilidad del proyecto, mediante esta herramienta interdisciplinar se pretende que los profesores puedan trabajar en el desarrollo de habilidades como el lenguaje oral y visual, la alfabetización visual, el desarrollo de valores, entre otros.

The age of the technology and the digitalisation has brought a change in the concept of Visual Culture, involving a social and educational impact. Therefore, we must launch initiatives for teaching and for guiding to the students in the study and understanding through the pictures. This dissertation is the result of an innovation project based on the Visual Culture analysis, its effect on the educational level and the use of the pictures as a narrative tool in the classrooms. The goal of this project is to introduce the Visual Culture in the Primary Education through the creation of an educational resource based on the illustrations: the silent album. For this reason, we have investigated the function of the Visual Culture in the Artistic Education, we have defined the illustrated álbum and we have carried out the research of references that have served for the development of a silent album as teaching resource. The result is the creation of HUMO, in which, through the illustrations, a story is told. Regarding the applicability of the project, by means of this interdisciplinary tool, it intends that the teachers make activities where they can work in the development of skills like the oral and visual language, the visual literacy, the value development, among others.
