Educación y religión en las aulas españolas

Abstract

Las difíciles relaciones entre religión y escuela pública es un tema muy polémico en la historia contemporánea de España. Además de ser un tema que siempre está en cuestión, sin encontrarse una solución satisfactoria para las diferentes ideologías existentes en nuestro país puesto que tienen intereses y finalidades contrapuestas. Estas ideas enfrentadas vienen afectando a los colegios españoles desde el inicio de la asignatura. Por ello, en el siguiente trabajo fin de máster vamos a hacer un recorrido histórico desde la Constitución de 1810 hasta la actualidad analizando las diferentes leyes educativas que han ido surgiendo, centrándonos principalmente en la asignatura de religión en los centros educativos según la época histórica y las leyes de ese momento. La división de los periodos históricos la he hecho de la siguiente forma: En primer lugar, desde la Constitución de 1810 hasta la llegada de la Constitución española de 1978. Considerándolo el periodo preconstitucional. En segundo lugar, el periodo de abarca desde la constitución de 1978 (incluida) hasta la actualidad. Denominado el periodo postconstitucional. Una división simple, pero considero que bastante valida ya que, la Constitución marcó un antes y un después en nuestro país en todos los ámbitos, incluida la educación. Para hacer un análisis profundo se tratarán los siguientes puntos en cada uno de los momentos históricos. En primer lugar, un recorrido histórico (general), continuando con el análisis de la relación iglesia-estado del momento, después dentro de cada época histórica analizaremos las leyes educativas existentes, fijando nuestras miradas en cómo han ido afectando esas leyes a la asignatura de religión . En la actualidad es más que evidente que las leyes educativas, y, por tanto, la asignatura de religión en los colegios españoles ha ido cambiando según el partido político que estuviese al mando y también, que a lo largo de la historia española la religión por excelencia ha sido la cristiana, pero en este recorrido histórico vamos a analizar con más profundidad y matices esas realidades. Desde la Constitución de 1812 que será dónde comenzará nuestro recorrido histórico hasta la actualidad han pasado 210 años. En esos 210 años han pasado por el sistema educativo español un conjunto amplio de leyes educativas, algunas de ellas de aspectos específicos de la educación como son la LODE de 1985 y la LOPEG de 1995 (entre otras) y otras, las reguladoras del propio sistema educativo como fue la Ley Moyano de 1857 y la LOGSE de 1990 (entre otras). The difficult relationship between religion and public school is a very controversial issue in the contemporary history of Spain. In addition to being an issue that is always in question, without finding a satisfactory solution for the different ideologies that exist in our country since they have conflicting interests and purposes. These conflicting ideas have been affecting Spanish schools since the beginning of the subject. For this reason, in the following master's thesis we are going to take a historical journey from the Constitution of 1810 to the present, analyzing the different educational laws that have been emerging, focusing mainly on the subject of religion in educational centers according to the historical period and the laws of that time. I have divided the historical periods in the following way: In the first place, from the Constitution of 1810 until the arrival of the Spanish Constitution of 1978. Considering it the pre-constitutional period. Second, the period covers from the constitution of 1978 (included) to the present. Called the post-constitutional period. A simple division, but I consider it quite valid since the Constitution marked a before and after in our country in all areas, including education. To make a deep analysis, the following points will be discussed in each of the historical moments. In the first place, a (general) historical tour, continuing with the analysis of the church-state relationship of the moment, then within each historical period we will analyze the existing educational laws, fixing our eyes on how these laws have been affecting the subject of religion. At present it is more than evident that the educational laws, and, therefore, the subject of religion in Spanish schools, have been changing according to the political party that was in charge and also, that throughout Spanish history, religion by excellence has been the Christian, but in this historical journey we are going to analyze these realities in more depth and nuances. Since the Constitution of 1812, which will be where our historical journey will begin until today, 210 years have passed. In those 210 years, a wide set of educational laws have passed through the Spanish educational system, some of them on specific aspects of education such as the LODE of 1985 and the LOPEG of 1995 (among others) and others, the regulators of the system itself education such as the Moyano Law of 1857 and the LOGSE of 1990 (among others).
