A0. Proyecto de ideación y creación de un festival artístico multidisciplinar

Abstract

A través de un festival cultural donde se antepone lo fugaz a lo permanente y se ambiciona crear una experiencia memorable dentro de una construcción momentánea, nace A0. Un proyecto que pretende incentivar la curiosidad y el interés por la cultura, tanto del arte, la música, el teatro y la danza, en Canarias. Fusionando los ámbitos del diseño y de la arquitectura, se ideará un espacio por medio de contenedores marítimos que albergará durante una semana este festival cultural. El contenedor acoge, a la vez que es, el espectáculo. Gracias a sus diversas características como su propiedad modular, su rapidez de ensamblaje y su resistencia, permite la creación de espacios que pueden ser habilitados para diversas funciones. El oxímoron entre lo efímero y lo perdurable que se plantea pretende resolver la cuestión de que aquello que es capaz de desaparecer, es también capaz de permanecer, en este caso, no de forma física pero sí mental. Para ello, no solo habrá que diseñar el espacio donde se realizará dicho festival sino también la propia programación del mismo para que sea lo suficientemente atrayente para todo tipo de públicos.

A project that aims to encourage curiosity and interest in culture, both art, music, theater and dance, in the Canary Islands. Merging the fields of design and architecture, a space will be devised by means of maritime containers that will house this cultural festival for a week. The container hosts, at the same time that it is, the spectacle. Thanks to its different characteristics such as its modular quality, its speed of assembling and its resistance, it allows the creation of spaces that can be enabled for various functions. The oxymoron between the ephemeral and the enduring that is proposed aims to resolve the question that what is capable of disappearing is also capable of remaining, in this case, not physically but mentally. To do this, not only will the space where the festival will take place have to be designed, but also the programming itself so that it is sufficiently attractive for all types of audiences.
