El régimen jurídico de los sitios de interés científico de las Islas Canarias

Abstract

The sites of scientific interest in the Canary Islands, make up a set of protected natural spaces, where, without necessarily being large, there is sufficient natural values of sicienfic interest, animal or plant speciens that, due to their biological and ecological importance, need a specific regulation. The planning of the uses and activities that can take place in these spaces, will be regulated by conservation rules. In the elaboration of these norms, the island councils will have the task to balance the approach and enjoyment by the citiziens wihout neglecting the protection and preservation that these places require. In the conservation rules, apart from the spatial delimitation, the need in the use of this rules, and those natural resource or specimen that inhabits it, we will see a highly detailed description of the zones of use according to the type of rustic land. The aim of this work is to study the legal regime of the sites of scientific interest in the Canary Islands.

Los sitios de interés científico de las Islas Canarias conforman un conjunto de espacios naturales protegidos, que, sin ser necesariamente de gran tamaño, presentan suficientes valores naturales de interés científico, especímenes de animales o vegetales que, por su importancia biológica y ecológica, necesitan una regulación específica. La ordenación de los usos y actividades que se puedan realizar dentro de estos espacios se regula mediante las normas de conservación. Los cabildos insulares, en la elaboración de estas normas equilibrarán el disfrute de estos espacios a los ciudadanos, sin dejar de lado la protección y preservación que estos lugares requieren. El contenido de estas normas, además de la delimitación espacial, necesidad de su utilización, el recurso natural o espécimen animal o vegetal lo habita, veremos una minuciosa descripción de los usos que cada zona, en función del suelo en el que esté, podrá llevarse a cabo. El estudio del presente trabajo es el régimen jurídico de los sitios de interés científico de las Islas Canarias.
