Análisis de la evolución del IPC español desde 2020 y del efecto de las principales crisis mundiales

Abstract

The Consumer Price Index is a tool used by statistics with the objective of analyzing the evolution of the prices of the goods and services that users consume, and it is calculated using the chained Laspeyres formula. In addition, for further study, it is grouped through the ECOICOP groups. During the last decade, two historical events have taken place, the influence of which on inflation has been notable: the Covid-19 crisis and the war between Russia and Ukraine.Thus, with the arrival of the pandemic, the price of certain products and services increased, to such a level that the so-called Covid-19 Goods and Services were created. Similar consequences were produced and are produced by the war, where we can highlight the increase in the price of electricity or fuel. All this shows that the prices of products and services are not stable, but that they vary depending on the variations that take place in society, and that through the CPI we can analyze it.

El Índice de Precios del Consumo es una herramienta utilizada por la estadística con el objetivo de analizar la evolución de los precios de los bienes y servicios que consumen los usuarios, y se calcula utilizando la fórmula de Laspeyres encadenado .Además, para un mayor estudio se agrupa mediante los grupos ECOICOP (European Classification of Individual Consumption by Purpose). Durante los últimos años han tenido lugar dos acontecimientos históricos, cuya influencia sobre la inflación ha sido notable, la crisis del Covid-19 y la guerra entre Rusia y Ucrania. Así, con la llegada de la pandemia, aumentó el precio de determinados productos y servicios, a tal nivel que se crearon los denominados Bienes y Servicios Covid-19. Similares consecuencias produjo y produce el conflicto bélico, donde podemos destacar el aumento del precio de la luz o de los carburantes. Todo ello pone de manifiesto que los precios de los productos y servicios no son estables, sino que varían en función de las modificaciones que tengan lugar en la sociedad, y que a través del IPC podemos analizarlo.
