2023Abstract
This work documents the creation of the mural "La Universidad de La
Laguna: Orgullosa de su diversidad (The University of La Laguna: proud of its
diversity)" within the University of La Laguna's central building, on the occasion
of the Pride month of 2021. The purpose of it was to represent both the reality
of the LGTBIQ+ community and to contextualize it within the students, thus
alluding to both realities - those of individuals belonging to said community, as
well as the professors and other staff of the building, given that is located in a
common and highly transited enclave. Este trabajo recoge la realización del mural "La Universidad de La Laguna:
Orgullosa de su diversidad" dentro del Edificio Central de la Universidad de La
Laguna, con motivo del mes del Orgullo en 2021. La finalidad del mismo era
representar tanto la realidad del Colectivo LGTBIQ+ como enmarcarlo dentro
del contexto estudiantil para así hacer alusión a ambas realidades (las de las
personas pertenecientes a dicho colectivo y el estudiantado, aunque también a
los docentes y demás trabajadores del edificio, ya que se encuentra en un
enclave común y bastante transitado).
