Análisis de los servicios sociales del municipio de Guía de Isora en base a lo establecido en la Ley16/2019, de 2 de mayo, de Servicios Sociales de Canarias.

Abstract

Esta investigación consiste en un análisis que ha tratado de estudiar en qué medida se han conseguido integrar las nuevas medidas establecidas dentro de la Ley de Servicios Sociales de Canarias 16/2019 dentro del sistema de Servicios Sociales del municipio de Guía de Isora. De la misma manera se ha tratado de profundizar en las problemáticas que existen en dicha administración y que repercuten tanto en el grado de aplicación de la nueva legislación como en la calidad de los servicios prestados. La recogida de información que tuvo lugar a través de una encuesta y dos entrevistas con trabajadoras sociales concluyó que prácticamente ninguna de las medidas y herramientas establecidas en la legislación se habían podido instaurar en el funcionamiento de la administración y que los principales obstáculos tanto para el correcto ejercicio de la profesión como para la puesta en marcha de la ley eran, entre otras, las sobrecarga excesiva de trabajo y la falta de recursos humanos.

This research consists of an analysis that has tried to study to what extent the new measures established within the Canary Social Services Law 16/2019 have been integrated within the system of Social Services of the municipality of Guia de Isora. In the same way, we tried to delve into the problems that exist in the function of said system and that have an impact both on the degree of implementation of the new legislation and on the quality of the services provided. The collection of information, carried out through a survey and two interviews with social workers concluded that practically none of the measures and tools established in the legislation had been implemented in the functioning of the administration and that the main obstacles both for the correct exercise of the profession and for the implementation of the law were, among others, the excessive work overload and the lack of human resources.
