El uso de Internet y la digitalización suponen un hito histórico en la
historia de la humanidad; ha modificado la manera en la que vivimos, y su
incidencia en la infancia es igualmente significativa. Por ello hablaremos sobre
su incorporación en la vida diaria de esta etapa. Algunos autores defienden su
implementación controlada en la vida de los niños, otros abogan por volver al
contacto con la naturaleza. Situaremos las dos perspectivas y los diferentes
matices que existen al respecto. En cuanto a los datos empíricos los resultados
se resumen en que un 70,6% de niños entre 10 y 15 años posee teléfono móvil,
y la franja de edad entre 12 y 17 años utiliza el móvil una media de 5,9 horas al
día. The use of the Internet and digitization represent a historical milestone in
the history of humanity; they have transformed the way we live, and their
impact on childhood is equally significant. Therefore, we will discuss their
incorporation into the daily lives of children. Some authors advocate for their
controlled implementation in children's lives, while others call for a return to
contact with nature. We will present both perspectives and the various nuances
involved. Regarding empirical data, the results show that 70.6% of children
between the ages of 10 and 15 own a mobile phone, and the age group between
12 and 17 uses their mobile phones an average of 5.9 hours per day.
