Programa de intervención en implante colear y el papel de la familia como co-terapeuta:

Abstract

La discapacidad auditiva, es un déficit funcional a causa de una pérdida o alteración de la función del sistema auditivo. Para paliar este déficit se hace uso del implante coclear, ya que este es, un dispositivo capaz de sustituir la función de las células ciliadas dañadas de la cóclea. El objetivo de este trabajo ha sido, elaborar un programa de intervención basado en la Terapia Auditivo Verbal. Dicho programa está dirigido tanto hacia las dificultades del habla y del lenguaje como a la dificultad de audición que presenta la paciente con 3 años de edad con implante coclear. Durante el desarrollo del programa, se destaca la gran importancia del papel de los familiares como co-terapetas. Tras la administración del mismo, se espera obtener mejoras en la adquisición del lenguaje oral de la usuaria, así como la integración familiar en el proceso de intervención.

Auditory disability, is a functional deficit due to a loss or alteration of the function of the auditory system. The cochlear implant is used to alleviate this deficit, since it is a device capable of replacing the function of the damaged hair cells of the cochlea. The objective of this project has been to develop an intervention program based on Auditory Verbal Therapy. This program is aimed at both the speech and language difficulties and the difficulty of hearing presented by the patient with a cochlear implant at the age of 3. During the development of the program, the importance of the role of family members as co-therapists is highlighted. After the administration of the program, it is expected to obtain improvements in the acquisition of the user's oral language, as well as family integration in the intervention process.
