K1 Educación basada en competencias K1 Aprendizaje cooperativo K1 Lengua inglesa AB On the basis of a European educational framework which aims to respond to theneeds – both present and future – of investigation and innovation in the field ofeducation, the key competences take a stance as a very significant resource and animportant, conciliatory and essential element of the new curriculum.At the European level, they insist on the need of acquiring the key competencesas a requirement to reach both personal and social and academic and professionaldevelopment to adjust to a world more and more globalized and uncertain.The competence approach, at its peak and demand, can constitute a key tool forthe training of the students who, when leaving the Spanish – and European –educational system, will be incorporated into society assuming the responsibilities itdemands.In this context, social tasks are a key element to maintain the content in relationto reality, developing a critical outlook, integrating key competences so its acquisitionmay be possible.In order to build bridges between theory and practice and, therefore, bring closerthe understanding of reality, social tasks are born to foster the competence approachthrough team work.
