With the advance of new technologies, videogames haveceased to be an exclusively ludic instrument, to become a means of socialization andcultural transmission of relevance today, a fact that we have corroborated in this work. Theobject of this study has been the analysis of the relationship between the use of newtechnologies, in this case videogames, with learning processes and “emointelctual”education. For this purpose, the qualitative methodology was used through "DiscussionGroups", which made possible to know in an open and qualitative way the opinions ofteenagers, about their motives and interests to use videogames. It is concluded by stating the need to continue deepening in this area, in order to ensure intergenerational dialogue.So, we believe necessary the training of professionals education, as well as families, tobetter understand the experience of building adolescence in the digital age, assuming in aresponsible way our role as educators.
