Inaddition, this fact is joined by the concerns of the 21st century, in this case, the Informationand Communication Technologies (ICT) as tools available for learning.This work aim of Máster focuses on knowing the use made of the ICT by the teachingstaff for students with special needs in schools in the Canary Islands. For this, through aquestionnaire, it is intended to know the technological endowment what are the different"Students with Special Needs" presented by the students and the beliefs that have Teacherstowards ICT.4The results we obtained, from a sample of 63 subjects, allowed us to deduce that theenclave classrooms, support classrooms, and special education centers have differenttechnological devices but the availability of specialized hardware is reduced. On the otherhand, the teaching body of attention to the "Students with Special Needs" of the CanaryIslands has a positive attitude towards ICT, considering them tools that favor inclusion. Inspite of this, we have verified that ICTs are not integrated into the teaching-learningprocesses to handle the Students with Special Needs, possibly due to the lack of ICTknowledge on the part of the teaching body.In this sense, greater teacher training could favor the integration of ICT in theteaching-learning processes to serve students with NEAE.
