K1 Niños hiperactivos K1 Aprendizaje-Trastornos AB Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a chronic disorder of neurobiologicalorigin, whose main symptoms include difficulty in maintaining attention and concentration,impulsivity and exaggerated motor restlessness for the child’s age and the context where it occurs.It is the disorder with the highest prevalence in childhood. In many cases, patients with ADHDexperience serious difficulties in learning mathematics.This master thesis, in the form of an educational innovation, aims to serve as a guide for thoseSecondary Education mathematics teachers who want to give the most appropriate educationalresponse to students with ADHD. It explores some of the theoretical bases of ADHD as well asthe causes and consequences of this disorder, exposes the main difficulties for the learning ofmathematics associated with ADHD, and shows some of the recommended psychopedagogicalmeasures for teaching mathematics to students with ADHD.Finally, a proposal of activities for the teaching-learning of mathematics aimed to 1st gradeESO students diagnosed with ADHD is developed.
