T1 La masculinización en latín de los préstamos griegos femeninos de la declinación temática

AB Integrated in the Latin nominal flexion in different periods, especially inLate Latin, a large number of greek feminine loanwords which belonged thesecond declension, underwent a change in its original grammatical genderand became masculine. This paper shows how this fact constitutes anotherconvincing evidence which demonstrates that Latin speakers regarded theo-stem or 2nd declension as the masculine, as opposed to the a-sthem or firstdeclension, which was considered to be the feminine flexion.
