AB For the realization of this work, a series of studies data and varied sources of informationhave been analysed all them, related to people diagnosed with some type of dementia, or,in most cases, Alzheimer, from the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands, to thenational level, in order to acquire as much information as possible and from it, estimatewhat will be the most appropriate subject and group to deal with.In said information it was observed, to a greater extent, the strong change in the attitudesof family members, due to their ignorance about the diagnosis, which causes them not toknow how to react or what steps should take while noticing how their family memberbegins to have cognitive problems, as well as diverse psychic responses, such as stress,anxiety, nerves, etc.For these reasons, it is considered that it is time to make a change and open the doors toinformation and learning, since they are collectives (families of caregivers and peoplewith Alzheimer's or other dementia) who are part of society, and must also have to be 2listened to, cared for, and understood, as well as helped to face the different situationsthey are going through.
