AB Gender violence is not a problem that affects the private sphere. On the contrary,it manifests itself as the most brutal symbol of inequality in our society. It is aviolence that is directed at women because they are so, because they areconsidered by their aggressors, lacking the minimum rights of freedom, respect anddecision-making capacity.Is strictly necessary that from the professional practice continue in the search ofactions for their attention, and later for the prevention. That is, public authorities,public administrations, and society must be fully aware of the situation of womenwith visual disabilities or any other type of disability in the face of violence.
