AB In this research we have found out the municipal budgets of some municipalities (Adeje,Granadilla, Güímar, La Laguna, Icod de Los Vinos, La Orotava and Puerto de la Cruz) belongingto the Canary Island archipielago in the period from 1927 to 1955. The main idea is to study andcollect data on revenue budgets and to provide information on a topic that is very important in theeconomic history of the Canary Islands due to the period that puts us at the end of the SecondRepublic, the beginning of the Civil War and later in the dictatorship of Franco. The analyticalobjective of the TFG is to study the finances of these municipalities in order to examine themeaning of this process of economic, political and institutional change in the fiscal frameworkmost immediate to the lives of the citizens.
