RT info:eu-repo/semantics/bachelorThesis T1 Optimización global en sistemas complejos A1 González Armas, Raquel AB The global optimization is a field of growing interest and developing due to thewide variety of applications that presents. One of them is treated in this project:the search of global energy minimum structures for clusters interacting with aLennard-Jones or Improved Lennard-Jones potential. Three known methods fortreating this problem are explained: genetic algorithm, simulated annealing andbasin-hopping. The last one has been implemented for clusters containing up to 50atoms. By means of the results, the main features of the structures and energies ofthis type of clusters are analysed.
