AB On this End of Degree Project it’s expose a comparative economic analysis of two wastewatertreatment systems that have been proposed for the Isla-Baja Region, in orden to decide which ofboth is the most suitable for the área. The two systems to study are: the Industrial MicromembraneSystem or MBR, that was proposed by CIATF and the Natural Biodigestion System designed bythe Canarian engineer José Luis Peraza and proposed by Isla-Baja Platform. For the realization ofthis analysis we have compared the most important quantitative and qualitative variables, such astotal cost, energy consumption or discharges to the sea. The obtained results with this analysissuggest that the Natural Biodigestion Depuration System is the most suitable and that it can betransferred to other parts of the island and even to the entire archipelago.
