From a traditional, conservative and paternalistic medicine, it has led toan extremely active, operational, sophisticated, distinguished by new technologicaladvances that have allowed a considerable improvement of the health service,revealing recent and innovative treatments for anomalies and diseases that previouslydid not show cure some and / or giving them expectations of consideration,multiplying the aspirations and demands, ostensibly paralyzing the number offailures. Thus, the culture of well-being is encouraged, starting from benefits that anadvanced society like ours, in the 21st century, requires and demands. However, wemust not forget that medicine is a relative, inaccurate axiological science, wheremultiple factors that can truncate the desired end have an impact. It is from thismargin of error where possible negligence and malpractice performed byprofessionals in the sector, based on the lex hartis ad hoc, should be appreciated.
