AB Frequently, different circumstances may disrupt the natural course of the class,hence it can be challenging to get to the main problem or even to find an appropriatesolution. In this environment is where the case study is needed since the research offersthe chance of accomplishing a personalized investigation that answers the problems thata teacher may have with each group. This dissertation is about the analysis of a case inwhich a group of students from 2º ESO has problems facing reading skills. The case wasconcatenated with data collected from a voluntary online questionnaire for students. Itwas later sent to the English Specialty students within the Master's Degree in SecondarySchool Training for its analysis. The result of both analyses concludes that the mainproblem was related to the methodology employed that affects directly the interest andmotivation of the students regarding this skill.
