AB This study consists of the analysis of the labor market in the tourist industry, especially in theCanary Islands, making special reference to the group of cleaners in hotel establishments, in whichit is intended to learn more about the population that makes up this sector, the conditions withthose who carry out the inherent activities of the same, in addition to making visible the inequalitythat currently exists between men and women. To do this, we have consulted the updated laborregulations, data collected from the National Institute of Statistics, Turespaña and the Ministry ofHealth.
