AB The Green Infrastructure, as instrument in territorial planification, involves a new territorymanagement model, as well as the natural resources, which provide the solution of a greatamount of the environmental problems posed nowadays, which in addition, revertsbeneficially in other subjects.It´s regulatory framework is disperse, although in the last few years it has progressively beenconsolidated by the European Union's initiative, so that it has become a necessity to relate thedifferent dispositions that emanate from it, along with the governamental and autonomic onesThe Canary Islands, deserving archipielago of such special environmental protection, as wellas thorough observance of its multiple characteristics, as carried through different legislativeinterventions in which has operated the sustainability principle and the environmentalprotection. Although this, it is currently insufficient, since it is imperative an spacialconfiguration that provides the ecosystem services required by the population´s demand.
