AB It is clear to see that, nowadays, that energetic transition is unstoppable. Canary Islandsrenewable energy potential is undeniable, due to its climatology and geographic situation.In the energetic storage field, hydrogen is emerging as the main future tecnology. The mainpurpose of this project is to outline the benefits of using energy storage through hydrogen,specifically studying Tenerife’s case. Currently, we can find different energy storage projects inCanary Islands, such as Gorona del Viento in El Hierro, or Chira-Soria in Gran Canaria, both beingpumped hydro energy storage. However, Tenerife does not own any energy storage solution. Forthat reason, and also following the technological trend, hydrogen must be considered a relevantoption to solve storage issues in Tenerife.In order to develop this analysis, several sources have been both consulted and studied, suchas reports, analysis, reviews, papers, roadmaps, normatives, etc. All of these are available on thebibliography.
