AB The purpose of this article is to recognize socialresponsibility actions at Higher Education Institutions which areengaged with meet the Sustainable Development Goals. Asystematic review of high-level scientific studies was developedfor recognizes Universities Social Responsibility (USR) actions inarticles Scopus, Scielo and WOS published on USR among 2016and 2020. The results show how USR actions are focus on qualityeducation, followed by clean water and affordable and cleanenergy. This study finds that HEIs participation in sustainabledevelopment is essential through USR actions from a broaderspectrum.
