AB One of the greatest measures used by workers throughout the world since theexistence of the employment relationship and with the emergence of the labormovement developed in England in the eighteenth century, has been the strike. Itstands out as one of the greatest measures of conflict that we can find in theworkplace, which had a boom in the mid-nineteenth century, since it was duringthat period, the moment in which these social protests were dominant in variousplaces of the industrialized society.In Spain, this measure of collective conflict had an evolution during the 20thcentury, evolving year after year until reaching the end of the strike that we havetoday. Considered a fundamental right within the Spanish constitution, it is asomewhat peculiar right with respect to the recognition attributed to it in theconstitution, it has undergone numerous changes.There is an idea about the change between the strike and the Spanish reality of theaforementioned century, since the forms of strike vary according to the years, theyundergo transformations, they are modernized, and it is appreciated that the mainfactor of change in strikes in Spain is based on the political factor.
