AB The objective of this work is to analyze the lines of public action that theGovernment of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands haslaunched in recent years, which are aimed at promoting CSR. These lines ofaction are framed within the European recommendations and the Spanishstrategy. It summarizes, on the one hand, the recommendations and initiativesthat come from the European Union, mentioning the different models developedaccording to the Member States, and, on the other hand, the Spanish CSRStrategy. Next, the content of the different programs related to CSR containedin the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islandsduring the period 2012 - 2021 will be analyzed in a more specific way.Keywords: Public Policies, Corporate Social Responsibility, Europe, Spain,General Budgets of the Canary Islands.
