AB The COVID-19 pandemic put the normal anddaily operation of the simulation centers on hold, thusreinventing the ways to ensure academic continuity. Thetelesimulation technique promotes the development ofcognitive, kinesthetic and psychomotor skills allowingtraining and feedback. The instrument "Self-diagnosis ontelesimulation in the teaching of health sciences" wasdesigned and applied to 100 teachers from various LatinAmerican countries. The dimensions of Active Learning,Interaction and communication, Multimedia andTelesimulation were evaluated. The dimension with thehighest average was Multimedia and the one with the lowestaverage was Telesimulation. Faculty had to migrate to thedigital system, as part of an emergency health situation,rather than innovation. There are gaps that impactprofessors in their use of telesimulation as a pedagogicalstrategy.
