AB The aim of this work has been to show the possibilities of cinema as a resourceto be used in Teachers Training Courses. The usefulness of films based onschool has been widely proved through the research of many academics, whohave studied in detail the value of moving images and stories told by films in orderto fix lessons and concepts. As there is such a long list of films in which teachingactivity and schoolmasters’ character, methods and attitude or issues aredepicted as main ingredients, they become a valuable material in order to showcertain stereotypes, handicaps or concepts belonging Teachers training courses.
