Los estereotipos de género en las aulas de Educación Infantil.

Abstract

Este trabajo presenta una investigación cualitativa, llevada a cabo en el área de educación infantil de un colegio de la zona norte de Tenerife. Su principal objetivo es analizar cómo se reproducen los estereotipos de género en las aulas, ya que, como sabemos, la escuela, es un medio trasmisor de valores sociales y los maestros son una pieza clave y fundamental en esta construcción. Por lo tanto, este trabajo busca conocer y valorar cual es la forma en la que los docentes se comportan y se expresan, ya que muchas veces, ya sea en el lenguaje, en los materiales o en canciones que usan a diario, transmiten actitudes erróneas a las que realmente pretenden inculcar.

This work presents a qualitative research carried out in the area of early childhood education at a school in the north of Tenerife. Its main objective is to analyze how gender stereotypes are reproduced in the classroom, since as we know, the school, is a means of transmitting social values and teachers are a key and fundamental piece in this construction. Therefore, this work seeks to know and assess what is the way teachers behave and express themselves,since many times, either in the language, in the materials or songs they use every day they convey wrong attitudes that they really intend to instill.
