This Degree Final Project arose from the need to cover the La Orotava Townhall
Square, in order to complete the Teide Land Carpet. The execution of this carpet
has a duration of three months. Therefore, a structure capable of covering the
requirements of both the location and the activity for which it is intended was
necessary.
The presented structure consists of a singular shape. Elements from the Hakitec
company have been used for the formation of the structure main frames and for the
longitudinal bracing. On the other hand, a front gantry has been made from
normalized profiles, bracing this gantry by using Crosses of San Andrés.
The proposed structure has been designed and calculated to meet all the technical
regulations at all times. These checks have been carried out according to the
Technical Building Code (CTE) and EHE-08.
In addition, a calculation of the execution material budget has been carried out.
