Programa de intervención para el aprendizaje del español a través de las Inteligencias Múltiples

Abstract

Este Trabajo Final de Grado es un proyecto de profesionalización que tiene como objetivo intervenir y ayudar al alumnado en la etapa de Educación Infantil que no comprende el español. Se pretende enseñar estrategias para favorecer a toda la población infantil migrante que llega a Canarias y se matricula en los centros escolares de las islas sin conocer el idioma. En este caso, es importante aprender español para adaptarse a su nuevo entorno y que su aprendizaje sea lo más significativo posible. En esta propuesta, se realizan diversas actividades basadas en la teoría de las inteligencias múltiples, las cuales han demostrado ser de gran ayuda para optimizar el aprendizaje del alumnado que se encuentre en dicha situación. También se expone la importancia de la edad en el aprendizaje de una nueva lengua y cómo el retardo de este aprendizaje influye en la construcción de la autoestima y en la frustración, dado que como se ha comprobado, afecta en el rendimiento académico y puede ocasionar problemas en la atención y concentración del alumno.

This Final Degree Project is a professionalization project that has the purpose of intervening and helping the students in the preschool period that don’t understand Spanish. It pretends teaching strategies to support the infant migrant population that arrives to the Canary Islands and is enrolled in the schools of the islands without knowing the language. In this case, it is important to learn Spanish to adapt to the new environment and so that their learning is meaningful to them. In this project, the different activities exposed, are based in the Multiple Intelligences theory, that have proved to optimize the learning process of the students in the situation described above. Furthermore, it is also exposed the importance of the age when learning a new language, and how the delay in the process can affect the self esteem and in the frustration, since it has been proved, it affects the academic performance and it can cause problems in the attention and concentration of the student.
