La cooperativa de trabajo asociado de trabajadores y el sentimiento de pertenencia de su profesorado

Abstract

En la cooperativa de trabajo asociado la titularidad corresponde a sus trabajadores y en esta investigación se analiza el sentimiento de pertenencia de sus profesores. El sentimiento de pertenencia responde al componente emocional de la implicación, la identificación con el centro escolar. La muestra está compuesta por 36 de los 72 profesores de la única cooperativa de este tipo en la provincia de Álava. Se ha utilizado el cuestionario «Phycological Sense of School Membership» (PSSM) de Goodenow (1993) todavía no utilizado en nuestro país y se ha creado un cuestionario específico para el profesorado inédito a nivel mundial. Los resultados sugieren que el sentimiento de pertenencia es más elevado en los hombres, en los que trabajan en los niveles de primaria, en los tutores y en los que tienen familiares en el centro. Estudiar los factores que afectan al sentimiento de pertenencia de los profesores es clave para evitar las altas tasas de abandono y fracaso escolar de los estudiantes.

In the worker cooperative ownership belongs to the workers and in this research we analyze teachers’ sense of belonging. The sense of belonging responds to the emotional component of engagement, identification with the school. The sample consists of 36 of the 72 teachers from the only cooperative of this type in the province of Alava. We used the questionnaire “Psychological Sense of School Membership” (PSSM) of Goodenow (1993) still not used in our country and it has been created a specific questionnaire for teachers unreleased worldwide. The results suggest that the feeling of belonging is higher in men, in those who work in primary levels, in tutors and those with relatives in the center. To study the factors that affect the sense of belonging of teachers it is fundamental to avoid high dropout and failure rates of students.
