La competencia escénica como elemento motivador para promover la competencia lectora en lengua inglesa

Abstract

This innovation project starts from an existent necessity to work on the reading competence in the process of learning English. Using theatre as a motivating element, we propose, as a central resource, the reading of a tale by the English writer and novelist Charles Dickens, with the objective that our students will then have to make a script out of it and act it out. This way we hope to encourage the reading in the English language.

Este proyecto de innovación docente surge de la necesidad existente de trabajar la competencia lectora como parte del aprendizaje del inglés. Usando el teatro como elemento motivador, proponemos utilizar como recurso central la lectura de una obra del escritor y novelista inglés Charles Dickens, con el objetivo de que nuestros alumnos y alumnas posteriormente la guionicen y pongan en escena. De esta manera, esperamos fomentar la lectura en lengua inglesa.
