The construction of the Tenerife South Train railway infrastructures is divided into several Sections and has
different tunnels and viaducts. This Project is carried out for the service installations of the Tunnel Section
Las Chafiras - La Oroteanda. In compliance with regulatory guidance, the installations designed are:
Low-Voltage electrical installation: power supply, wiring and electrical switchgear.
Tunnel ventilation system with Jet fans.
Fire protection installation.
Lighting installation.
There is a technical building, for the operation of the electromechanical installations, with exclusive use for
maintenance workers which is located in one of the tunnel entrances, and designed for the energy supply and
the water supply for fire-fighting systems.
