El acoso escolar desde una perspectiva adulta.

Abstract

El acoso escolar es un tipo específico de violencia que siempre ha existido y ha tenido lugar en todas y cada una de las épocas que constituyen nuestra historia. No es un tema reciente ni novedoso, es una batalla a la que se han tenido que enfrentar miles de estudiantes a lo largo de su vida, y de la que, en muchos casos, han salido gravemente perjudicados, teniendo que lidiar durante largos periodos de tiempo con una serie de secuelas emocionales prácticamente irreversibles. Mediante esta investigación pretendemos dar a conocer las historias de un grupo de seis personas que sufrieron acoso escolar en la infancia, con el principal propósito de descubrir las consecuencias sufridas a largo plazo, y que derivan de este fenómeno. Para ello, les hemos realizado una entrevista totalmente anónima y constituida por un total de 12 preguntas, organizadas en base a diferentes categorías que nos permitan plasmar, abordar y desarrollar distintas cuestiones y aspectos del tema principal que estamos tratando. Las respuestas obtenidas nos han hecho reflexionar sobre la importancia que adquiere el apoyo ofrecido a las víctimas por parte de los docentes y las familias, los cuales ejercen un rol fundamental en el proceso de confrontación y superación. También hemos podido comprobar la falta de información y concienciación que existía en un pasado, y cómo la situación se ha visto favorecida con el paso del tiempo, gracias además a la gran accesibilidad y a la inmensidad de recursos con los que la sociedad cuenta actualmente. En cuanto a los motivos por los cuales se produce el acoso, podemos afirmar que el aspecto físico y la falta de habilidades sociales son los más comunes. No obstante, la principal conclusión que hemos extraído es que, siempre que la víctima no reciba la ayuda que necesita y sea atendida como es debido y a tiempo, los conflictos emocionales que surgirán terminarán ocasionando una serie de limitaciones y daños psicológicos que afectarán a la persona de por vida, dañando irremediablemente su autoestima y e influyendo negativamente en su bienestar personal.

Bullying is a specific type of violence that has always existed and has taken place in each and every one of the times that make up our history. It is not a recent or novel issue, it is a battle that thousands of students have had to face throughout their lives, and which, in many cases, have been seriously harmed, having to fight for long periods of time with a series of virtually irreversible emotional sequels. Through this research, we intend to make known the stories of a group of six people who suffered bullying during childhood, with the main purpose of discovering the long-term consequences of this phenomenon. To do this, we have conducted a completely anonymous interview with a total of 12 questions, organized based on different categories that allow us to capture, address and develop different matters and aspects of the main topic that we are dealing with. The answers obtained have made us reflect on the importance of the support offered to victims by teachers and families, who play a fundamental role in the process of confrontation and overcoming. We have also been able to verify the lack of information and awareness that existed in the past, and how the situation has been favored with the passage of time, thanks also to the great accessibility and vast resources that society currently has. Regarding the reasons why bullying occurs, we can affirm that the physical aspect and the lack of social skills are the most common. However, the main conclusion we have drawn is that, as long as the victim does not receive the help they need and isn't treated properly and on time, the emotional conflicts that will arise will end up causing a series of limitations and psychological damage that will affect the person for life, irreparably damaging your self-esteem and negatively influencing their personal well-being.
