An investigation has been carried out, with the aim of analyzing the perception of
ADHD symptoms by teachers, parents and students. To do this, the Attention Deficit
Disorder with or without hyperactivity questionnaire was administered, which is within
the guide for the early detection of disabilities, disorders, learning difficulties and high
intellectual capacities (Extracted from DSM-IV and adapted by Díaz and Jiménez, 2006).
The initial hypothesis is to check whether parents overestimate symptoms associated with
their children's attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder. However, the analyzes carried
out showed that there weren’t differences between the groups both when comparing the
symptoms associated with attention deficit and / or hyperactivity and not when they were
taken together.
