Crónicas de una niña frustrada: Una aproximación Autoetnográfica sobre estilos educativos en las relaciones familiares

Abstract

En este Trabajo de Fin de Grado hago uso de la autoetnografía (Ellis, Adams y Bochner, 2015) con el fin de narrar mi sentir y mis dudas con respecto a cómo he sido educada como hija y hermana, cuestión que provoca cierta frustración en mí. Se presentan tres actos a modo de una obra teatral que despliegan desde una escritura evocativa aquellas nociones que me llevan a cuestionar mis ideas sobre la familia, sobre los diferentes estilos educativos que percibí, la sobreprotección de mi madre, las expectativas y roles que se esperan y espero de mí. Las reflexiones y cuestiones que se entrelazan en estos actos van llevándome a un desenlace en donde no hallo un veredicto favorable a mi pensar, no encontré las respuestas que tanto codiciaba, pero encontré algo mejor, la comprensión sin prejuicios y sobre todo sin rencores, la tranquilidad de estar en las preguntas y no en las respuestas, ayudándome a manejarme mejor en la incertidumbre, viviéndolo también como una lección para abordar mi futuro complejo y cercano en el que me encuentro ahora. Mi relación con esta autoetnografía, es una aventura que me ha valido la pena intentar, pues gracias a ella me ha permitido volcar, ordenar, desordenar, comprender o intentarlo, no solo a mí sino a mi madre, a mi familia; dando una textura matizada a la frustración con la que inicie este trabajo

In this final degree project I make use of autoethnography (Ellis, Adams & Bochner, 2015) in order to narrate my feelings and my doubts regarding how I have been raised as a daughter and sister, an issue that causes some frustration in me. Three acts are presented as a theatrical work that unfold from an evocative writing those notions that lead me to question my ideas about the family, about the different educational styles that I perceived, the overprotection of my mother, the expectations and roles that are expected and I hope from me. The reflections and questions that are intertwined in these acts are leading me to an outcome where I do not find a favorable verdict for my thinking, I did not find the answers that I coveted so much, but I found something better, understanding without prejudice and above all without grudges; the tranquility of being in the questions and not in the answers, helping me to better handle uncertainty, also living it as a lesson to address my complex and near future in which I find myself now. My relationship with this autoethnography is an adventure that has been worth trying, because thanks to it has allowed me to overturn, order, disorder, understand or try not only myself but also my mother, my family, giving a nuanced texture to the frustration with which I started this job.
